Catholic Schools Week was a great success at Our Saviour School! The week was started with our kick-off Mass, Parent Club Chili lunch and an Open House for prospective students. Monday, the focus was on Community, where Parent Club planned “A Very Important Person” day. Students invited their VIP’s and they rotated between a snack, a craft, and a book fair. On Tuesday, we focused on Vocations, by having many individuals from our Parish and community visit with the students on various vocations. A wide variety of topics were covered, including such items as cooking, dentistry, detective work, radio media, art, healthy workout, pet training, science of hearing and Armed Services. Wednesday focused on Mission Rosary with Vicki Compton from the Springfield Diocese coming to give a presentation to our students. We celebrated Our Students with various games and activities and a spirit wear day on Thursday. On Friday, the Parent Club provided a wonderful luncheon for our faculty, and Isaiah Christian Littig performed with our students.

Throughout the week, parents and students had the opportunity to purchase books from the Scholastic Book Fair. Proceeds from this activity, go back to our school. Lastly, we had a successful mission project where the funds were split between Catholic Heart Work Camp and the Overton family. Our Saviour School students outdid themselves as they demonstrated the importance of servitude and raised over $2700.00!
